Jewellery lovers rejoice: All the jewelry lovers in India need to celebrate as a museum dedicated to rare gems and jewelry is all set to open its doors in Rajasthan.

Jaipur, also known as the pink city is all set to open its newest museum, called the Khazana Mahal which will showcase something for all the jewelry lovers. From rare gems, jewels, stones, etc.

according to reports, Khazana Mahal has been constructed in a huge area of 12,000 square yards with 3-feet security walls. Since it’s going to be a hub for expensive jewelry, the museum has got its manual as well as high-tech security deployed inside and outside.

The founder of the Mahal, Anoop Srivastava, told reporters that the museum was a dream of 87-year-old popular jeweler Dr. Rajnikath Shah, who is based out of New York, USA.

“It is his collection. He visited Jaipur Wax Museum at Nahargarh Fort and taking inspiration from that, he proposed the idea of this palace to me,” Srivastava was quoted as saying by ANI.

The museum also has a history attached to it as it has been built after restoring a 200-year-old Haveli, which was earlier known as the ‘Cheeta ki Haudi Barood Khana’. The museum is said to have taken approximately two and a half years to complete and it will open to the public in June 2022.

Reports suggest that most of the gemstones displayed in the museum are original. And, the people behind it claim that there is no other museum in the world to house so many gemstones under one roof. The museum will also offer jewelry lovers a chance to see Ulka Pind, Ramsetu ka Patthar, Shark tooth converted to a diamond, and dinosaur excreta converted to a diamond.

The tourist spot will also offer zip-line activities and a few more adventurous activities in its bid to be a family entertainment hub.

The Jaipur authorities will open the Mahal for the general public in Mid-June with a ticket of Rs 500 for Indians and Rs 1,500 for foreigners.
