STAMFORD — Westover school has placed its best foot forward.
The school community collected quite a pair of,440 pairs of socks as a part of Socktober — a shot to assist destitute people by aggregating socks throughout October.

“Socks are the most-needed item however the smallest amount given. everybody wears socks,” Westover Principal Lisa Saba-Price aforementioned in an exceeding statement.

“This year, the complete fifth grade worked along by creating posters and promoting donations with TikTok dances that were created in the dance category,” she said. “We have a tendency tore able to take one thing as straightforward as a try of socks to create a positive distinction in somebody else’s life by showing we cared. The socks, collected by students, staff, and their families, are going to be given to native organizations, together with Person to Person, Inspirica, Community Closet, and Pivot Ministry. A bundle of socks will be born off for those who are homeless in my town.
